New at Body Care for Men: Microneedling

At Body Care for Men, we continue to expand our range of treatments that are specially tailored to the male skin. We are therefore proud to introduce our new treatment: microneedling. This intensive facial treatment has been developed to visibly improve, firm, and renew the skin in a safe and effective way.

What is microneedling?

Microneedling is a treatment in which small micro-channels are created in the upper layer of the skin using fine, sterile needles. This is done in a controlled manner with a special microneedling pen. These micro-stimulations activate the skin’s natural repair mechanism. The body immediately starts working to renew and restore the skin. An important result of this process is the stimulation of collagen production. Collagen forms the foundation for firm, smooth, and youthful-looking skin. As we age, the natural production of collagen decreases. This can lead to fine lines, wrinkles, loss of firmness, and a duller complexion. By stimulating the skin in a targeted way, this process is reactivated.

How does the treatment work?

The microneedling treatment always begins with a thorough facial cleansing, during which the skin is carefully disinfected. Afterwards, we apply Hyaluronic Acid from The Ordinary to ensure maximum hydration and to support the recovery process. We then treat the face with the microneedling pen using horizontal and vertical movements. This ensures an even stimulation of the skin. After the treatment, we apply the Recover & Energize Mask and the Day & Night Cream SPF30 from Layzin. These products help to calm and restore the skin and support the regeneration process. As an added service, you will receive both products to take home so you can continue the recovery process optimally.
